Alright well we all remember Chris Leben from "TUF Season 1". He was reckless, arrogant, drunk, and sort of a douche bag. He has had trouble with the law, and even served a little bit of time. He recently failed a drug test that showed him using a performance enhancing drug, this coming off a big loss to Michael Bisping. So after reading all this sounds like Leben is on his way out.
Well he isn't. He is coming off his suspension due to the failed drug test, and is becoming a different fighter. He became sober and started doing some teaching in his own gym. After all this he is maturing into the veteran fighter that people want to see him as.
In no way are Leben's skills lacking of being a great fighter. We all know that he has some great KO power, plus he is starting to finally develop a decent ground game. He is training hard with his own school's pupils.
So Leben will meet his opponent Jake Rosholt, a collegiate wrestling national champion, at UFC 102. Leben will be having the home field advantage due to being born and raised in UFC 102's location Portland, Oregon.
Could we see the rebirth of Chris Leben come though, well will just have to wait and see until UFC 102.
