It's been a while since we heard anything from the collapsed organization, that was bought by the UFC.
After the purchase of PRIDE we haven't seen anything successful really coming out of it. Big fights that were promised between the two promotions never came through, and no fights were ever made under the purchase of PRIDE.
One thing that was available for the UFC after the purchase was access to the PRIDE video library.
So except to see PRIDE matches from the past on Spike. Dana White commented on it at a session at the Wachovia Center in Philadelphia, saying "It'll kind of be like "UFC Unleashed".
Now an interesting topic comes up through this. With many of ex PRIDE superstars being in the UFC now, what about those who didn't come over will they be shown? What I'm really trying to say is will Fedor be shown on the program? I'm thinking no.
"All the great PRIDE fights that happened with all the stars who are UFC guys now will be on it." With that statement by Dana White looks like only UFC stars will be shown.
No actual date has been set, but sources are saying that it will broadcast in January.
